With joy and excitement, the teachers and students of Hong Gai Primary School warmly welcomed the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year at both of our campuses, marking the start of a new journey filled with hope, learning, and happiness.
Distinguished Guests The school was honored to welcome local leaders and distinguished guests who attended the ceremony and extended their warmest congratulations:
Campus 1: The delegation was led by Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Ward People’s Council. The delegation also included Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham, Deputy Chief of the Party Committee Office; Mr. Le Minh Ha, Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Division; and Ms. Lam Anh Thu, Specialist at the Culture and Social Affairs Division.
Campus 2: The delegation was led by Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Party Inspection Commission. The delegation also included Captain Bui Thanh Tuan, representative of the Ward Military Command.
The celebration was made even more meaningful by the presence of the School Parents’ Association, parents, partner organizations, local businesses, and social agencies, all coming together to create a warm and memorable first day of school. ❤️
Scholarships for Students A special highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of scholarships to 28 students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have shown remarkable determination in their studies. In partnership with VietinBank, Vietcombank, and An Phu Company, the school awarded scholarships totaling VND 14 million, offering encouragement and confidence for these students as they step into the new school year.
A Nationwide Connection Vibrant musical performances, colorful congratulatory flowers, and the festive atmosphere of the ceremony were broadcast live nationwide, connecting Hong Gai Primary School with millions of teachers and students celebrating the first day of school across Vietnam.
The Drumbeat of a New Journey: In a solemn and emotional moment, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Secretary of the School Party Committee and Principal, together with Ms. Pham Thi Mai Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee and Vice Principal, performed the traditional Opening Drum Ceremony for the 2026–2027 school year. Ms. The resonant sound of the school drum signaled the beginning of an inspiring new chapter, a journey of knowledge, aspiration, compassion, and childhood dreams.
